Masonic Village at Elizabethtown is hiring a Lead Server. This is a Full Time Day/Evening and Every Other Weekend opportunity.

What You'll Do:

As a Lead Server, you will carry out our Mission of Love by welcoming and warmly greet guests on arrival and coordinate seating. Assists supervisors in overseeing service, safety, and sanitation to ensure excellent dining experience by responding to guest questions, requests and concerns. Performs opening and closing procedures, including cash control. Our Lead Servers are responsible for the following:

  • Maintains prompt and courteous service, making adjustments following complaints.

  • Supervises and inspects the dining room and equipment for cleanliness and condition, and generate work order if necessary.

  • Orient, train and coach new employees instructing and training them in work procedures according to written and practiced standards. 

  • Prepare menus, Chef's Specials, and food cards weekly.Data entry including census, revenue, and comment cards

  • Maintain communication with supervisors through nightly report. Attends daily service meetings, in-services and required training sessions. Maintains record of meals served to residents, visitors, and cash operation as directed by the supervisor and according to written and standard practices. 

What You Definitely Have:

  • Good written and oral communication and proficient with computer applications

  • CPR certification required (prior to or upon employment).

  • Completion of Food Service Ladder I Program required.
  • At least two years of experience in hospitality industry and one year of experience in front-of-the-house supervision is most helpful. 

  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
