What You'll Do:

As a Resident Services Liaison, you will carry out our Mission of Love by being responsible to work with Admission and Marketing to review possible admissions, and to assist residents and families to apply for fraternal care, Medical Assistance, and other available benefits.

Our Resident Services Liaison is responsible for the following:

  • Knowledge of Medical Assistance regulations, generally accepted accounting principles, regulations governing resident personal care accounts, and other governmental or industry regulations applicable to Masonic Villages' operations, as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate on issues affecting position's responsibilities. Communication may include identification and documentation of issue, gathering of information, and development of an action plan. Communication may include written reports or schedules, and oral presentations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business systems/software and controls for the resident service revenue activities of Masonic Villages. Demonstrated ability to utilize systems as needed to meet operational needs, regulatory requirements and maintain sufficient controls to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Initiate and conduct regular phone, e-mail, and other communications with residents, social Services, family members and various agencies
  • Assist residents/families/representatives with applying for Medicaid (MA) benefits, including obtaining insurances values
  • Work closely with Admissions and Marketing office to review and assist potential admissions with obtaining financial documentation for those who may need to have Fraternal Care or MA benefits at or near time of admission
  • Gather documentation and process forms for new MA and fraternal care applicants, level of care changes, income changes, deaths, etc.
  • Initiate and track Resource Assessments and assist families with completion
  • Collect patient pay amounts for new MA or fraternal care applicants
  • Set up new MA or fraternal care recipients in billing system, document and communicate as appropriate

What You Have:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience with Social Services and Social Work education preferred.
  • Experience with government programs assistance preferred.
  • Computer experience required. PC experience with Microsoft Word and Excel or other spreadsheet software helpful.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or willing to become fully vaccinated upon hire. Masonic Villages will review and consider medical and religious exemptions.
